| Prissy's former "mom" had
health issues that forced her to give Prissy up in July of 2006. She had originally
been purchased from a pet store and then bred at close to 7 years of age! As sweet
and absolutely amazing as Prissy was, she was a true example of how horrible "pet
store puppies" can be. She had quite a few genetic problems and was quite
arthritic. She was far from the breed standard. It's a shame the previous
owner never took the time to learn what goes into responsible breeding. Prissy never
should have been bred. She was spayed when she came to live with me and lived as a
princess for the last year of her life. |

"I
had to let Prissy go today. She had a brain tumor.... she was such a cool dog and I miss
her so much. It's hard to believe that we only had a little over a year together. She fit
right in from the beginning as if she'd been here from day one. She's going to be deeply
missed." ~ Mandie, 8/12/2007 |
